The Elkhart Environmental Center is operated by the City of Elkhart, but has been enhanced through gifts of monetary donations through people and places such as The Martin Foundation, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, EPA 5 Star Restoration grant, NiSource Environmental Challenge grants, U.S.F.& W.S, NAWWCA grant, and many other partners!
