National Wildlife Federation's new www.climateclassroom.org is designed to help parents and teachers talk to students of differing ages about climate change. Its features include guidelines for parents, proposed new national global warming educator guidelines, age-adapted sources of useful curricula, a downloadable slide presentation ofr kids, presenter's guide and more!

Interested in making a difference in your community while getting outside? You can adopt-a-trail in the City of Elkhart. Volunteers will maintain trails at Boot Lake, the Elkhart Environmental Center, Woodlawn Nature Preserve or the River Green Way.
