Parade Application

The Sesquicentennial Committee would like to invite your organization to participate in the Grand Parade.  This will be a unique opportunity to showcase your organization while joining with the entire community in celebrating 150 years of Elkhart history.  The parade will form on Second Street, begin at the Post Office, and run over the North Main Street Bridge, dispersing at North Side Gym.  There is no cost for entry and prizes will be awarded for the best entries.

Attached is an entry form for your organization to indicate its desire to participate in Elkhart's Sesquicentennial Grand Parade.  Please return the attached form to Charlotte Applewhite, Elkhart Parks and Recreation Department, 201 South 2nd Street, Elkhart, IN 46516, as soon as possible but no later than Friday, May 30.  You can reach Charlotte by phone at (574) 295-7275 extension 17, or by email at charlotte.applewhite@coei.org.

Only once every fifty years do we have the opportunity to join together as an entire community to celebrate such an important event.  We want this to be a party to remember and look forward to the involvement of your organization to make it so.  We look forward to your timely reply.
