Third graders visiting Recyclasaurus Rex.Due to reductions in staff in recent years, the EEC is only able to offer programs led by EEC staff member during the summer or when seasonal or volunteer staff are available. During the school year, the EEC is available for self-guided field trips and lesson kits are available for teachers to reserve for use during on-site field trips of back in their classroom.

The kits may be reserved for up to one week at a time and it is the responsibility of the teacher to arrange for pick-up and drop-off of the kit materials. The Education Coordinator will review the lesson and kit with the teacher prior to use.

The primary audience for EEC school programs is K-6th grade students in the Elkhart Community and Concord Community School Districts.
