Short-term Closures:

NEW!Beginning Thursday, January 3, 2019, Country Road 7. between Bristol St. and County Road 6 will be closed through January 25, 2019 for sewer maintenance and repair work.  Access will be maintained for affected residents, businesses, churches, etc. However, access will be limited
to/from one direction, and will be alternating frequently during the construction. Local traffic is advised to heed directions from construction signs, flaggers, and construction workers for access.
All thru traffic will be detoured to County Road 6 / Cassopolis / Bristol St.

Long-term Closures:

Beginning Monday, September 10, 2018 Norfolk Southern will close the intersection of Oakland Ave and Indiana Ave to replace the railroad bridge.  The project is expected to be completed in February 2019.  A detour will be posted and can be found with this link...

Beginning on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 Superior Blvd. between Jackson Blvd. and Grady Blvd. will be closed for 30 days. 

Beginning August 1, 2018, Jackson Blvd. from Elkhart Avenue to Junior Achievement Drive and Elkhart Avenue from Jackson Boulevard to NIBCO Parkway will be closed for approximately two months. For more information click here.

Permanent Road Closures:

Beginning Tuesday, October 18, 2016 McPherson Street between Dearborn St. and Conn Ave. will be closed indefinitely.  This section of street has been vacated.  

Beginning Tuesday, April 4, 2016 the Monroe St. Railroad Crossing will be closed indefinitely.

Beginning, Wednesday, December 16, 2015, the McDonald St. Railroad Crossing will be closed indefinitely. This intersection is near S. Main Street and Richmond Street.
